ECHN’s Family Birthing Center located at Manchester Memorial Hospital offers new parents personal, family-centered care in a welcoming, safe and home-like environment. Every child birth is a special event and a joyous occasion. With labor and recovery rooms, a bassinet nursery, a neonatal intensive care unit in partnership with Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Neonatologists, cesarean section delivery rooms and family gathering areas, we understand you want to deliver your baby on your terms. We strive to be flexible and offer a range of services to make your experience safe, comfortable and uniquely your own. We provide:
- Daily lactation consults and services
- Midwives and doulas
- Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome: You and your baby
- Nitrous Oxide Therapy
- Vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC)
- Hydro-Therapy as well as water births
- Additional variety of education classes
Parking and Valet Services
Parking
Free parking for visitors and patients is located directly across the street from the hospital’s main entrance on Haynes Street. The circular driveway at the front entrance of the hospital can be utilized to drop off patients.
Valet Services
Free valet parking services are available Monday – Friday for main entrance and ambulatory drop-offs.
- Main Entrance valet services located on Haynes Street: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
- Ambulatory valet services located on Guard Street: 5:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
