Clinical trials also help determine which treatments work best for certain illnesses and certain groups of people, including people with cancer. The John A. DeQuattro Cancer Center regularly participates in clinical trials for emerging cancer treatments so that patients can access the most up-to-date technology and treatments if they choose to participate.
