Palliative Care Services

Palliative care is an interdisciplinary approach to care that provides symptom relief and pain management for patients experiencing physical and emotional discomfort related to the progression of a disease or illness and is best suited for individuals living at home or in assisted living facilities who wish to remain out of the hospital.

Palliative care can be provided at the same time as treatment, and it aims to prolong life for as long as possible. Often referred to as a bridge program, our compassionate caregivers provide emotional support to help prepare individuals who might not yet need – or are prepared for – hospice care.
