What We Can Help With

Our registered dietians offer nutrition counseling for adults and children wishing to address general wellness needs concerning vegetarian, athelete and childhood diets and specialize in the nutritional needs specific to:

Getting Started

First, contact your doctor to obtain a written referral including your name and phone number, your doctor's signature and your coded diagnosis. The referral is required and may be faxed to 860.474.1700.

Contact ECHN's Outpatient Nutrition Services to make an appointment. The phone number is 860.647.6856.

Please arrive 15 minutes early for your appointment to complete the outpatient registration process.

Your first session with a registered dietitian will include an interview and an initial assessment. The dietician will ask for details about your nutrition history as well as your eating, grocery shopping and cooking habits. During this one-on-one session, you and your dietitian will decide the best next steps.
