Exercise Routines: What is Best for You
Join Mary Pesce, PTA, LSVT, CPT, CET to learn how exercise programs designed for the cancer patient may improve function, reduce muscle and bone loss, reduce symptoms, and possibly increase survival rates. Many people who participate in regular exercise report psychological and social benefits as well.
This is a free program for cancer patients and their caregivers provided by the Eastern Connecticut Cancer Institute. All workshops are at the John A. DeQuattro Cancer Center, Conference Room A.
Lunch is from 12 -12:30 p.m. and the program begins at 12:30 p.m.
