Maternity Care Center
The Maternity Care Center at
Rockville General Hospital has been providing valuable maternity services to the community for over 30 years. The Center serves uninsured and underinsured women who are accepted into the program regardless of their ability to pay. Patients receive all their pre-natal and post-partum care by ECHN Obstetricians & Registered Nurses at the Center with a holistic approach, including nutrition and lactation counseling, childbirth and parenting classes, and guidance applying for state assistance. Patients of the Maternity Care Center will deliver their babies at the SBM Charitable Foundation Family Birthing Center at
Manchester Memorial Hospital.
The New Mothers Program is just one of the unique programs open to patients of the Maternity Care Center. This program invites women to bring their new babies to meet with other new mothers at the Family Birthing Center every week for the first months of life to receive information on the adjustment to parenthood, lactation, and moving back into the workforce.
The Maternity Care Center is open on Monday, Wednesday & Friday, from 9am-5pm. To contact the Maternity Care Center, call
