The ABCs Of Babies – A Free Prenatal Class For 25 And Under

The ABCs of Babies program is designed for pregnant parents under the age of 25 who are preparing for a new baby and want to learn more about their body, their baby, and parenting. The class is held once a week for 10 weeks on Thursdays beginning March 7, 2013, at Manchester Memorial Hospital, 71 Haynes St., in Conference Rooms E & F (basement level).

This class is provided by the Nurturing Families Network Groups, a program of Eastern Connecticut Health Network’s Family Development Center. Topics include prenatal nutrition, signs of labor & delivery, tour of the Family Birthing Center, how to prepare for the baby, breastfeeding and bottle-feeding techniques, basic infant care and development, and much more.

We welcome the father of the baby and/or support person as well. Light dinner is provided. Registration is required. Classes fill quickly so register as soon as you can by calling Liz at 860.432.5278, Ext. 124.
