MANCHESTER, CONNECTICUT – Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) has been awarded a $101,421 grant from the SBM Charitable Foundation to the SBM Charitable Foundation Family Birthing Center at Manchester Memorial Hospital. This grant will be used for the replacement of three fetal monitors, and an upgrade for the QS/Centricity labor and delivery documentation system. This equipment and software will allow doctors to monitor progress and ensure the safest possible delivery with minimal complication for both baby and mother.
The board, staff and providers of ECHN are pleased that the SBM Charitable Foundation supports new and ongoing initiatives with such generosity and care for the surrounding community.
The SBM Charitable Foundation, Inc. was established in 2000 by Connecticut Bancshares, Inc., the parent company of the former Savings Bank of Manchester.
