ECHN's 29th Daniel Paul Purcell, MD, Memorial Golf Classic

Aug 7, 2009 -

Eastern Connecticut Health Network (ECHN) held its 29th annual Daniel Paul Purcell, MD, Memorial Golf Classic July 15. Over 140 golfers attended this event in support of Manchester Memorial Hospital, which raised more than $36,000 in net proceeds. This long-standing golf tournament, in memory of Manchester Memorial Hospital's late fundraiser, Daniel Paul Purcell, MD, attracts local business leaders and community representatives.

This tournament was made possible through the generosity of a number of corporate and individual sponsors, including lead sponsor William Gallagher Associates, gold sponsors Ambulance Service of Manchester, Connecticut Business Systems and Neubert, Pepe & Monteith, corporate sponsor Griffin York & Krause, lunch sponsors CASLE Corporation, Durant, Nichols, Houston, Hodgson & Cortese-Costa, P.C and registration table sponsors Eastern Connecticut Pathology Consultants, P.C., Rockville Bank Foundation, Inc., and Standard Builders.

Special thanks go out to all individuals and organizations that also support the event through donation of auction items and additional financial support. Proceeds for this tournament will have an immediate effect on the hospital's ability to continue to provide quality healthcare to our community.

ECHN holds many annual events throughout the year and partners with corporations for maximum marketing opportunities. For information on how to be a part of future ECHN Community Healthcare Foundation events, please call 860.647.4750.
