Eastern Connecticut Health Network’s (ECHN) Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Program at Manchester Memorial Hospital, 71 Haynes St., and Rockville General Hospital, 31 Union St., received recertification by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). Both hospitals were recognized for their commitment to improving the quality of life by enhancing standards of care. Certified AACVPR programs are recognized as leaders in the field of cardiovascular rehabilitation because they offer the most advanced practices available. AACVPR Program Certification is valid for three years.
ECHN’s Women’s Center for Wellness, 2600 Tamarack Avenue, South Windsor, received accreditation from the American College of Radiology in the practice of Breast Ultrasound and Ultrasound-Guided Breast Biopsy services. The ACR awards accreditation to facilities for the achievement of high practice standards after a peer-review evaluation of its practice. Image quality and procedure evaluations are conducted by board-certified radiologists and medical physicists who are experts in the field.
These certifications demonstrate the commitment of ECHN’s medical staff and employees to providing the best possible care to patients.
