Eastern Connecticut Health Network will hold its Teddy Bear Clinic on Saturday, Jan. 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Manchester Memorial Hospital, 71 Haynes St. Children, ages 3 to 11, are invited to bring "Mr. Teddy" (or any plush toy) to the clinic for a check-up. Scout troops are welcome!

While "Mr. Teddy" is receiving special attention by one of ECHN's medical professionals, the youngsters will learn about getting X-rays, taking temperatures, making casts, mending broken bones, and more. They will also have an opportunity to climb aboard an ambulance, play games, and enjoy other activities. Light refreshments will be served. This popular family event is free.
